After reading the reviews and carefully putting it to thought, I bought this microphone in hopes that I would be able to record my piano compositions. And those hopes were fulfilled. This product records crystal clear (so clear that it sounds like I went to a professional recording studio!) and it's easy to use; just plug it into your USB port and record. However, one drawback is that it tends to easily catch small noises, such as clicks or noises that are going on in your house/apartment/etc. Therefore, recording in a dead-silent room would be the best thing to do. Unfortunately for me, I have to record in a room that's always busy. Customer Review: MXL USB.007 Mic
This is an excellent product. It needs to be set up on a table top or mic stand since it's pretty hefty. The quality is excellent.
